What exactly am I entitled to with my plan?
Your infrastructure: the website, custom domain email, hosting, backups, security, monitoring, AI features (bring your own provider), status page, monthly report, 1-business-day support, and small content updates. These are part of your plan, not add-ons.
What's the three-month minimum for?
It covers the cost of building your site. After three months, you can leave anytime — we hand over everything. Most people stay. The model works because we both want the same thing: your business online and successful.
What happens after three months?
Two options. Stay with us — price still locked, we keep running it. Or take it elsewhere — we hand over the code, designs, database export, credentials, AI configuration, and a walkthrough of deploying it yourself. No penalties, no exit fees.
What happens if Construct goes out of business?
You keep everything. We send you a 90-day notice, a final handover package (code, credentials, docs), and free migration help for 30 days. This is in the agreement. Your business doesn't depend on us surviving.
How do AI features work?
You bring your own AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Groq, or any API-compatible service). You sign up with them, give us the API key, and we integrate it into your site. You pay your provider directly based on their pricing — we don't add any markup. Swap providers anytime.
Is business email included?
Yes. info@, support@, sales@ — as many as you need, included in your plan. Email is part of your infrastructure, not a paid add-on.
What if my site gets very popular?
We talk. There are no automatic overage fees or hard caps. When your site grows past the natural fit of its tier (roughly 2x in visitors or accounts), we reach out and offer options: upgrade, optimize, or add capacity without changing your tier. Your call.
Can I upgrade from Basic to Pro later?
Yes. All tiers are built on the same foundation, so upgrading is a few days of work — not a rebuild. Your price updates to the new tier and stays locked for the remainder of the 12 months.
What if I want a custom feature?
Tell us what you need. If it fits in your current tier, we'll tell you. If it's a custom project (unique integrations, hardware, special workflows), we quote it separately. Scope agreed before work begins.
Who owns the code and design?
You do, after three months. Until then, we hold it as a working product. After month 3, the code, designs, credentials, AI prompts, and everything else are yours to take wherever you want.
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. Stripe and the banks take their standard processing fees (about 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). You keep everything else.
What if I want to cancel?
Email us. After the three-month minimum, we cancel at the end of the current month and hand over everything. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no hassle.
