What we collect

When you fill in the contact form, we collect the fields you submit — typically your name, email, and a description of your project. That's it. We don't use third-party tracking, advertising pixels, or session replay tools on this site.

What we don't collect

We don't collect analytics on this site. We don't run third-party scripts. We don't fingerprint your browser. We don't sell anything to anyone.

Where the data lives

Form submissions are delivered to our team's email and stored in our internal project tracker. We use the data to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work.

AI provider data

Construct does not provide AI services. If you choose to connect your own AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) to your Construct infrastructure, their privacy policy governs your AI data. We do not see, store, or process the data sent to or received from your AI provider. Your API key is stored encrypted.

Email and mailboxes

Email data sent through your Construct-provided mailboxes is stored on your mail server. We have access to administer the server but do not read your email. You can download or export your email at any time.

Backups

We back up your site and data daily. Backups are encrypted and stored in a separate location. You can download your backups at any time through your status page.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a client, we keep your inquiry for 12 months. If you become a client, your data is kept for the duration of the engagement and 7 years after, for tax and legal reasons. After that, all data is permanently deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. We will. You can also ask what we have on you. We will tell you. Email hi@buildconstruct.dev.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything, we'll update this page and bump the date below. We won't silently expand what we collect. Current subscribers get 30 days notice of any material change.
